Yukon Territory

The Yukon does not have a formal accessible wait list registry. While there are general practitioners in the Yukon, the specialists are present through a regular visiting program. We are advised that the wait time for an opthamology appointment is between 9 and 12 months. For orthopedics, it is 6 to 9 months. However, the wait for surgery is usually only 2 to 3 months. The surgery takes place in the Whitehorse Hospital.
